Home alone

Hi all

It is 9am on Thursday and i sit here all alone. Leslie was picked up an hour ago and taken to the Beatson for her third session of chemotherapy.

We found out something very interesting yesterday when we saw the consultant. Apparently, one of the chemo drugs that is used on Leslie is produced from the Yew Tree. As Shaman, this sparked a myriad of thoughts and questions as well as making quite a few connections. You see, Leslie’s Staff is from a Yew tree.

This morning before Leslie went off to the Beatson, we looked up Yew in one of our books, and found much to be pleased about. I read the information out to Leslie as she held on to her staff, it was a beautiful calm moment.

There will defininately be more work with Yew in the coming days and weeks, who knows what we will find coming from Spirit as we journey to Yew and seek guidance for Leslie’s healing.

For me today, it is a tidy up day, move stuff, clean behind and generally make the place a bit more homely.

That’s all for now, take care
